LESS PREORGANIZED – MORE ON SITE CO-ORGANIZED
we – the group of people that has organized the tortenessen the last few years – are interested in new ways to come together and also have less capacities to prepare the event. so we decided do free ourself from the pressure we put on ourself. this means we will not be providing a lightsystem nor a soundsystem nor a bar and we will not check the mail account.
we trust in the selforganising skills of our community and will try to organise what needs to be organized together.
we will prepare the plans on what will be constructed and how it will be constructed. And we will prepare all the basic stuff so we can set up an outdoor kitchen together. But who will go shopping groceries, who will cook, how we will get the money together to go shopping, all this stuff we will decide together on the spot.
DONATIONS OF FOOD AND DONATIONS OF CONSTRUCTING MATERIAL ARE VERY WELCOME
If you are able to organise food, if you want to bring a cake, if you have some clever ideas how we all can have a nice time together, this is all very welcome.
We are also looking for constructing material like long screws, planks, roof panels and alike. Let us know via sms (tel++41 77 443 26 39) if you can provide material…
On Site Situation
WATER & ELECTRICITY
The Wagenplatz has no running water. The electricity is limited to what our solar system provides us. For the maschines we have a generator.
SLEEP
There is the possibility to set up tents.
DOGS
You are kindly requested to leave your dog at home or if this is not possible, to keep your dog on a leash all the time. Our cats will be very thankfull.
CARS
There are some few parking lots, manly for persons with special mobility needs and for persons who will sleep in the vehicles. If it is possible for you to walk the 500m from the main road to the wagenplatz, we would like you to leave your car at a public parking lot.
If you have to drive to the wagenplatz, please do so very carefully and slowly as not to disturb the people walking in the woods.
HOW TO GET THERE
The wagenplatz is quite comfortably accessible with public transport. take the yellow bus nr101 from the main train station, get off the bus at “Melchiorstrasse”, cross the road behind the bus and follow Melchiorstrasse. in the next turn you will see a red bicicle trail sign which says “Eymatt”. follow this sign into the forest, turn right as you join a asphalt street, go over the bridge over the motor way. After the bridge go as straight as you can, stay on the asphalt street, take the third turn on the left (just before the street begins to go down). Now you will see on your right the first few trailers. Pass the trailers, look out for the pizza oven, follow the little trail on the right side of the pizza oven.
