as the touch of the sun moves slowly over the exposed skin and the blackbirds in the background calling out their names and the dandelions transform into their flying form and the summer breeze let the seeds travel through the air like snowflakes, a thought rushes trough the head:
aren’t we all snowflakes? so delicately unique and soft and floating alone in the air and when we get together and hold on to each other and build clusters and structures and gather together even more we become a snowball or become an avalanche breaking down from the mountainsides with superpowers that let the old world shake
and isn’t this knowledge of being able to build clusters and structures and the power that can be formed by coming together deep rooted in our self helping us to survive this harsh times?
and wouldn’t it be great to come together right now and start building something physical as an exercise as a practice to be reminded of our power to be reminded of the hands next to your owns and the arms that join in and the shouts and laughters that fill the air and the hearts with joy –
isn’t it worth trying?

from saturday morning 7th of june (9:30am) till monday 9th of june 2025 in the evening
at Wagenplatz Bethlehem in Bern aka Queer Wogenau
We are planning to build big things and small things, complicated things and simple things, we are planning to share our skills and to put out heads together to organise the september event
we are planning to visit the river, say hello to the sun and to the bluebird of happiness, put our hands in the earth, hang loose in hammocks and feel the power of rest
no super skills required, more so first steps of holding a power drill are embraced openhearted
get up, stand up, put on your construction site drag, pack your beloved belongings, your bathing suits, your glitter working gear, your drills and chills, your hammocks and hammers and join the queer construction days resistance!
